THE AUGUSTINE 5* - Rocco Forte Collection
The hotel has been created from a set of seven buildings, many of which have historical significance, the largest and most important of which is the thirteenth century Augustinian St Thomas’s Monastery, after which the hotel is named. Other former buildings include the St Thomas’s Brewery, The Ministry of the Interior and a hotel.
101 elegantly appointed bedrooms, including 16 suites, all with stunning views of Prague Castle, the city, the monastery church or courtyards. All of the bedrooms are different, with the majority boasting interesting architectural and structural characteristics including vaulted ceilings and original doors.
The Augustine will feature The Monastery, a 90-seat restaurant housed in a glass covered courtyard, featuring three listed trees. During the warmer months, guests will be able to dine outside on the tranquil courtyard.
The Augustine Spa will include 4 treatment rooms, including one double room, a hamam with a special massage bed offering therapeutic heat treatments and an experience shower, steam room, manicure and pedicure area, an 80sqm fully-equipped gym and a relaxation area. The spa will offer a range of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments.
